Vice-President and head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (CHHTO) said 10-year plan for development and promotion of tourism industry in the D8 member states will be compiled soon.

Referring to the results of tourism ministers meeting of D8 group in Tehran and summit meeting in Malaysia, Rahim Mashaei told reporters, "Upon a document for developing member states of D8, tourism as one of the main instruments and factors in this concern will be considered."
He pointed out the population of the member states of D8 is around 900 million which is a considerable figure for tourism.

Summit meeting in Kuala Lumpur paid a good attention to the results of the tourism ministers meeting in Tehran.

Facilitating entry visas among member states and providing grounds for developing tourism in these countries are among approvals and predicted programs of the meeting, the vice president added.
