Three killed on 'spying' for US in Pakistan's tribal region

Islamabad, July 18, IRNA

Pakistan-Spies
Suspected militants have murdered three persons on the charges of spying for the United States, locals said Friday.

Three bodies were found at Karwan Manza area of South Waziristan in a canal, they said.

A note, written in the local Pashtoo language, was found near the bodies which accused the slain people of spying for the United States.

The note warned that other 'US spies' will face the same fate.

The note did not identify the people and it was also not mentioned which area they belonged to.

Local authorities said that the slain people were shot dead.

Around 300 tribesmen have been killed in the North and South Waziristan tribal regions in four years on the charges of spying for the US and Pakistani government.
