Islamabad, May 13, IRNA

Pakistan-politics
Pakistan Muslim League (PML)-N ministers would handed over their resignations to Prime Minister Tuesday.

The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) on Monday decided to quit the federal cabinet as the coalition government failed to meet the deadline of May 12 set for the restoration of the deposed judges.

The PML-N ministers will hold a joint press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

ML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in press conference yesterday said his party would not become part of any conspiracies or tool of any force to support dictatorship and destabilise democracy.

"We will extend support to the federal government on
issue-to-issue basis," he emphasised.

He said the PML-N was committed to restoring all those judges who had challenged the unconstitutional steps of a dictator with dignity, honour and respect.

"We would continue their struggle for the restoration of the deposed judges to pre-Nov 3 position," he added.
