A meeting on export, investment and marketing opportunities in Islamic states with a special focus on Iraq will be held in Tehran on May 16.
Announcing this on Saturday, the secretary of the meeting noted that over 500 domestic tradesmen and commercial officials will take part in the event.
Jahanbakhsh Shirazi noted that during the meeting, Iraq's situation as well as opportunities and risks of Iraqi markets would be analyzed.
"Officials from Trade Promotion Organization, Border Chambers of Commerce, Industries and Mines, Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce, Terminals Organization, Standards Organization, insurance companies, Iraq embassy, and Headquarters for Development and Renovation of Iraq will study Iranian tradesmen's presence in Iraq.
"Two expert training meetings to review Iraq's strategic market will be held on the sidelines of the meeting," he said.
