Iran-Book Fair-Inauguration
The 21st Tehran International Book Fair was inaugurated Wednesday evening during a ceremony attended by First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi and Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad-Hossein Saffar-Harandi.
The book fair is being held at Tehran's Grand Prayers Ground (Mosalla).
A group of cultural and political officials as well as foreign diplomats and ambassadors in Tehran were also present at the ceremony.
Some 77 countries are participating in the 10-day fair which continues until May 11.
