Iran-Azerbaijan-Wrestling
Iranian national free-style wrestling team which won one gold medal, two silver and four bronze and ranked second in the Golden Grand Prix Tournament on Wrestling held in Baku on June 27-29.
After beating his Georgian rival in 84 kg, Iranian free-style wrestler Reza Yazdani was awarded gold medal.
Other Iranian wrestlers Meysam Mostafa-Jokar and Mohsen Rezaei respectively in 74 and 120 kg received silver medals by wrestling with their Azeri sides and beating them.
In addition, Mohsen Aqajani in 60 kg, Iman Mohammadian in 74 kg, Robat Moradi and Abazar Eslami both in 96 kg won bronze medals at the international sport event.
So, the host team Azerbaijan clinched the championship title, Iran's national free-style wrestling team stood second and Turkey ranked third.
The Golden Grand Prix Tournament is an international free-style wrestling competitions annually held in Baku to commemorate Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan's national leader.
