President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday called on directors of Iranian news agencies and newspapers to help the government implement its economic reforms plan in the country in a better manner.
Stressing that precise implementation of the plan requires national will, public support, assistance of three branches of government as well as political and economic activists, he urged mediapersons to explain different aspects of the plan to the public.
"They can also help the government in carrying out the plan by offering practical proposals," he said.
Stating that seven pivotal points of the economic reforms plan should be pursued and carried out altogether, the chief executive also said that planning has been made in such a way that the plan can be implemented with great care and produce better results.
He also said that the government is fully prepared to devise sound economic plans once for all so that both the government and the public will know their own duties.
