Iran-IAEA-Saeedi
Officials of Iran and the United Nations nuclear watchdog are to discuss Tehran's relations with the International Atomic Energy Agency in a meeting to be held in Vienna, Austria, on Thursday.
The meeting would be held by head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Reza Aqazadeh, and the IAEA Director-General Mohamed ElBaradei, the IAEO's deputy for International Affairs, Mohammad Saeedi told IRNA Wednesday night.
He added that the two "are to discuss Iran-IAEA relations in term of the safeguards agreement.
Saeedi said that Aqazadeh and ElBaradei would also "exchange views on outcomes of Iran's latest talks with the Group 5+1 over its nuclear standoff with the West.
The talks were held in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 19 by Iran's top nuclear negotiator and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili and the EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana.
The US Undersecretary of State William Burns, the third-highest US diplomat, was also present in the meeting in a major shift from a long-standing policy.
