Vienna, July 24, IRNA

Iran-IAEA-Talks
Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Reza Aqazadeh said on Thursday that talks between Iran and group 7 are expected to resume in the near future.

The two sides have exchanged messages and are ready to hold talks, he said.

Speaking to reporters after his one-hour talks with IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei, he said the two sides believe that they are to enter a new phase of serious talks which requires collective collaboration.

Referring to incentive packages exchanged between the two sides (Iran and G7), he said "They have provided us with 'non-paper' proposal in Geneva talks which takes time to be replied."
Iran has adopted a very serious, comprehensive and all-out approach in nuclear related talks, he said.

Iran's package of proposals covers variety of issues including current developments in Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, energy and soaring oil prices.

On impacts of Iran's nuclear issue on rising oil prices, he said as an expert in oil field "I would like to tell you that the current situation would not help developing countries nor it would bear fruitful results for oil producing countries."
