President highlights Iran's capability to become a superpower

Tehran, July 23, IRNA

Iran-West-President
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday highlighted Iran's capability to become a superpower thanks to its rich culture and human resources.

In an address to the people of Yasouj in Kohgilouyeh and Boyer Ahmad province, southwestern Iran, the president voiced Tehran's readiness to "sit with world major powers and find a solution to aggressions, occupations, discrimination and bullying approaches." President Ahmadinejad stressed that Iran would negotiate with "every country, except the Zionist regime, based on justice, mutual respect and fair basis."
"We have always said that we would negotiate with all parties but no one has the right to set any condition for the talks," the president said.

He added, "If there should be any condition it should be set by the Iranian side," he stressed.

President Ahmadinejad and his cabinet members arrived in the province Wednesday morning on the fourth provincial tour of President Ahmadinejad in the current Iranian year (started on March 21).
