Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Wednesday that Iran has always paid due attention to the fate of kidnapped Iranian diplomats in Lebanon.
Rafsanjani, in a meeting with members of a public committee in charge of obtaining the release kidnapped Iranian diplomat Mohsen Mousavi and his colleagues, welcomed the move to offer dlrs one million award for any reliable information on their whereabouts.
Iran has always been concerned about the fate of kidnapped Iranian diplomats and pursuing the case through a public committee would help keep their memories alive as children of Islamic Revolution.
The public committee briefed Rafsanjani on the latest steps and contacts with Lebanese officials to this end.
