Iran-Turkey-Mottaki
Foreign Minister of Iran Manouchehr Mottaki ended up his one-day visit to Turkey and left here Friday evening after holding separate talks with senior Turkish officials.
Mottaki visited Turkey at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Ali Babacan.
The Iranian minister discussed major bilateral, regional and international developments with Babacan, Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Before coming to Turkey, Mottaki was in Syria where he met Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, his counterpart Walid Moallem and Vice- President Farouq al-Shara.
Mottaki's visit to Turkey and Syria was part of a regional tour which had earlier brought him to Oman as well.
