Mottaki: Zionist regime is doomed to annihilation

Tehran, July 12, IRNA

Iran-Mottaki-Zionist regime
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Saturday that there is no other fate but annihilation for the usurper Zionist regime just like the apartheid South African regime.

Mottaki made the remark in a special ceremony marking the abduction of four Iranian diplomats in Lebanon.

The illegitimate Zionist regime is now going through hard times both in the region and within the international community, he said.

Destruction of the Zionist regime is an undeniable fact for those who once backed the regime, he said.

The fact indicates that the regional countries by no means recognize the Zionist regime, he said.

Referring to the 26th anniversary of the abduction of Iranian diplomats in Lebanon, he said kidnapping, terror, occupation, savage bombardment, continued atrocities, carnage and aggression on other countries in the region is among characteristics of the Zionists who act as puppets in the hands of big powers.

Iran's then-charge d'affaires to Beirut Mohsen Mousavi, Iranian diplomat Taqi Rastegar-Moqaddam, the country's military attache Ahmad Motevasselian and IRNA photojournalist Kazem Akhavan were kidnapped in Beirut in 1982 while being escorted by the Lebanese police on their way back from a mission in northern Lebanon.

Concrete evidence indicates that the four Iranian diplomats are in the Zionist regime's captivity.

The Zionist regime agreed under an exchange deal with the Lebanese Hizbollah to disclose the details about the abduction of Iranian diplomats.

Iran strongly condemn such inhuman behavior and call on international organizations to fulfill their duties and help release the abducted Iranian diplomats.
