Ministers to attend Majlis commission sessions

Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar will attend a Majlis' National Security and Foreign Policy Commission meeting on Tuesday to respond to questions by representatives from Qazvin and Orumiyeh.


Based on the weekly agenda of Majlis commissions, which was faxed to IRNA on Saturday, Najjar will be present in the commission to respond to queries by Qodratollah Alikhani and Nader Qazipour, MPs from Qazvin and Orumiyeh respectively.

Meanwhile, caretaker of the Interior Ministry, Seyyed Mehdi Hashemi accompanied by deputy ministers will be present in the commission session on Monday to discuss domestic issues.

Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Governor Tahmasb Mazaheri will present a report to Majlis' Economic Commission on Tuesday.

Oil Minister Gholamhossein Nozari is scheduled to show up in an Energy Commission meeting on Tuesday to report on the latest state of the country's oil industry.

Minister of Health and Medical Education Kamran Baqeri-Lankarani will provide a report to Health and Medical Treatment Commission on the indices, resources and credits of the health sector Monday.

Caretaker of the Interior Ministry Hashemi will also attend Development Commission meeting to put forward a report on the performance of the ministry's Development Department and the implementation of Budget Law's Note 13.

Commander of Islamic Republic of Iran Police (IRIP) Brigadier General Esmaeil Ahmadi-Moqaddam will show up in the parliamentary commission meeting to give a report on the performance and future programs of IRIP.

Minister of Road and Transportation Mohammad Rahmati will also attend a commission session to respond to questions by four MPs.

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hossein Saffar-Harandi will be present in the Majlis Cultural Commission meeting on Monday to respond to queries by Elias Naderan and Parviz Sorouri, MPs from Tehran.
