There is no logic behind suspension of enrichment to produce fuel for power plants, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on Monday.

Talking to reporters, he said, "Suspension of enrichment has no logic and therefore, Tehran's stand on the issue has not changed." He made the remarks while talking to domestic and foreign reporters during his weekly press conference.

Hosseini further turned down any request depriving the Iranian nation of its legal rights.

As to the possibility of issuing another anti-Iran resolution by the UN Security Council, he said, "Any resolution against the country will not result in abandoning our rights."
Tehran believes that the UN Security Council's move to issue anti-Iran resolutions is totally wrong, he said, adding "The Islamic Republic stresses diplomatic procedures and will follow up its objectives through legal channels."
