President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad urged Iranian experts Tuesday evening to take more steps for promotion of Information Technology activities.

Addressing a ceremony on the eve the World Communications Day (May 16), the president said Iranians are at the early steps of the global communications technology and should make more efforts in this field.

Noting that some powers have used communications and IT equipment as means to dominate other nations, the president said, the technology should serve clear conscience of all human beings.
