Iran accuses US, UK of complicity in Shiraz bombing

Iran has pointed finger at the United States and Britain as being accomplices to Shiraz terrorist bombing and said that it will take legal action with the International Court of Justice against the US and UK after investigations indicated their complicity in the terror.

Iran's judiciary would follow up the case of a mosque explosion in southern Iran in February from both inside and outside the country, it was reported on Tuesday.

On April 12, some 12 people were killed and more than 190 others wounded in an explosion at a cultural center that was part of a mosque in the city of Shiraz, the capital of southern province of Fars.

Judiciary spokesman, Ali-Reza Jamshidi, told reporters that 12 main suspects were arrested for their involvement in Shiraz explosion.

According to the investigations, the US and Britain had also a role in the blast.

According to the spokesman, Iran's Prosecutor General Qorban-Ali Dorri Najaf-Abadi was assigned to follow up the case inside and outside Iran.
