Iraq's cultural week opens in Tehran

Iran-Iraq-Cultural Week
Iraq's Cultural Week Tuesday afternoon was inaugurated in Tehran.

The Iraq's cultural week opened in presence of the head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) Mehdi Mostafavi and Iraqi Deputy Minister of Culture Jabir al-Jabiri along with the country's delegation.

Some 170 Iraqi scholars, authors and media officials as well as a number of Iranian cultural officials took part in the cultural event.

Holding book fair, presenting visual arts and performing music, theater and movies are the plans set for the cultural event.

Iraq's cultural week will be open to public until July 28 during which two countries are due to sign educational, scientific and cultural agreement.
