Hamedan Film Festival publicizes Palestinian Cinema

The 22nd Hamedan International Children and Young Adults Film Festival introduced Palestine's Cinema to the world, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Representative said on Sunday.

On the sidelines of the festival, Nasser Abu Sharif told IRNA that Iran showed the Cinema of Palestine which has the potentials of being internationally introduced.

Iran, he said, strongly backs the oppressed Palestinians.

He also termed the Hamedan film festival as a precious event.

Some 22 Palestinian kids along with six films are participating in the international event.

The 22nd Hamedan International Film Festival, which is screening 272 domestic and foreign movies from 39 countries, is underway in Hamedan province, western Iran, from June 21 to 25.
