Managing director of Concrete Research Center said here on Wednesday that head of International Committee as well as official representative of American Concrete Institute (ACI) will visit Iran next week to exchange experiences, review the latest achievements in the concrete industry and hold scientific lectures.

Speaking to IRNA, Mostafa Ahmadvand added that Professor Luke Snell, head of concrete industry management section at Arizona State University, will arrive in Tehran on a five-day visit at the invitation of the center.

Ahmadvand also said that his visit aims to promote technical knowledge in the field in the country and forge communications with top international professors.

Snell's trip to Iran comes at a time when the US is planning to impose fresh round of sanctions against Iran over its peaceful nuclear program.

During his stay in Tehran, Snell will take part in specialized workshops and deliver lectures at civil engineering circles in Iran, he said, adding that he is also expected to visit Building Research Center of Housing and Urban Development Ministry, meet members of Majlis' Development Commission.
