Pakistan PM Gilani to meet Bush next week

Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will meet President George Bush at the White House on July 28, officials said Tuesday.

The meeting will be followed by lunch, a Foreign Ministry official said.

Gilani will reach Washington on July 27 in the evening. He will have no engagements on 27th. He will also meet vice president on July 28.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will call on the prime minister on July 28 besides receiving the energy secretary.

Treasury secretary will meet the prime minister on July 29 and Gilani will attend energy roundtable at the World Bank.

On the same day he will have meeting with Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

The defense secretary will also call on the prime minister and he will address at Council of Foreign Relations.

On July 29, he will address the Pakistani American community.

On July 30, he will have a meeting with CEO's of US Chamber of Commerce and will also meet the Congress Speaker Pelosi and congressmen.
