Bayern Munich manager Uli Hoeness has ruled out transferring disgruntled striker Lukas Podolski to another team, the daily Bild newspaper reported Friday.

"For the last time, there is a clear statement (by Podolski) that he will remain with us," Hoeness stressed.

A reserve forward at Bayern, Podolski has been the subject of rampant media speculations in recent weeks about an imminent move to other German or English clubs, among them Werder Bremen, VfB Stuttgart, FC Cologne, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs.
