Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani will meet President Bush on July 28 to `discuss a broad range of issues of mutual interest and regional and international matters of common interest', the Foreign Ministry said Thursday.
The Prime Minister will be visiting the United States at the invitation of President Bush, Foreign Office spokesman Muhammad Sadiq said at the weekly news briefing in Islamabad.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also have interaction with members of the US Congress, business sector, media and the Pakistani American community.
This will be the first visit of Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani to the United States after formation of the new democratic government.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is also reaching New York on July 8 for consultations with the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and permanent representatives of the Security Council member countries regarding Pakistan's request for an international probe into assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
The request for an inquiry has already been submitted by Pakistan and is being reviewed by the UN office of legal affairs.
The Foreign Minister will also address a UN Security Council meeting on Afghanistan on July 9th.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi will meet US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, members of the Congress and senior US officials on July 11 in Washington.
