Iran-China trade doubles in 3 years

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Iran-China trade ties has increased noticeably in the last three years from 10 billion dollars annually to 20 billion.

Mottaki who attended China embassy here on Wednesday to sign memorial book opened to honor victims of recent China earthquake, expressed his sympathy and sorrow to the Chinese government and people.

He added Iran's Red Crescent in coordination with Foreign Ministry has dispatched humanitarian aids to earthquake victims and said, "We are in contact with Chinese government and we are ready to send more aids in case of their request."
An earthquake measuring 7.9 degrees in Richter scale jolted south western province of Sichuan on May 12 which left more than 40,000 dead and 240,000 wounded.
