Iran's futsal national team won the 10th Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 11-18.

The Iranian futsal team returned home on Tuesday while welcomed by the deputy chief of Iran's Football Federation and some sport officials.

Iran's national futsal team beat its Thai rival 4-0 at the final game on Sunday.

Iran also emerged as the AFC Futsal Champion for the ninth consecutive times, special thanks to its 10th Most Valuable Player in world in 2006 Mohammad-Reza Heidarian who announced his retirement after holding 2008 futsal competitions in Bangkok in which Iran became the overall winner.
