IRI Envoys-World Diplomats-Nuclear
IRI ambassadors in Tokyo, the Hague and Zagreb in meetings with Japanese, Dutch and Croat diplomats Wednesday elaborated on past four years' activities in Iran's peaceful nuclear program.
The meetings were in line with IRI envoys' consultations with world diplomats aimed at further clarifying over our country's peaceful nuclear program.
According to an IRNA Political Desk reporter, the Foreign Ministry's Media Department reported that during the meetings the Iranian ambassadors referred to the 8% growth in annual electricity consumption in Iran during the meetings.
They also informed the foreign diplomats on the growing heavy and light industries in our country and Islamic Republic of Iran's dire need to products of nuclear processes in agricultural, sanitary, and medical fields, pointing to Iranian nation's resolute will to take peaceful advantage of nuclear technology.
It was also announced that keeping in mind that the remainder of ambiguities on Iran's nuclear activities have been fully resolved for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), there is no longer any logical excuse for further surveys at UN Security Council on the matter.
The IRI envoys reiterated that the United States and Israel still keep on propagating lies and spreading baseless rumors on Iran's peaceful nuclear program at the UN Security Council, aimed at blocking the path for that world council for heeding its main duty, that is safeguarding the international peace and stability.
Iran's Ambassador to Tokyo, Eraqchi, condemned UNSC's nonchalance about the racist Zionist regime's nuclear arsenal, adding, "The daily threats made by the occupying regime of Holy Qods against Iran and Israel's incessant massacre of the innocent Palestinian civilians are not trivial matters to be so calmly ignored by the Security Council, the guardian of world peace and security."
The IRI Ambassador to the Hague, Ziaran, too, reiterated, "The United States and the Zionist regime have taken hostage the Middle East's security by trampling upon numerous UN resolutions, as well as a major part of the international laws."
The Islamic Republic of Iran's Ambassador to Zagreb referred to the massacre of the innocent Palestinian nation by the Zionists every day and the genocide of the Afghan and Iraqi nations by the United States.
Fadaei added, "The occupiers of Holy Qods and their staunch supporters in Washington believe the continuation of their life depends on never ending and expanded crises in the Middle East, which is why they have once again decided to inflict further injuries against the limbs of Lebanon today."
The host countries' diplomats were also informed that in order to solve Iran's peaceful nuclear problems, Tehran has prepared a package of proposals that has been delivered to the UN Secretary General, the head of Security Council, EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana and foreign ministers of Switzerland, and Russia.
Japan's Deputy Foreign Minister praised Iran's new initiative assuring the Iranian ambassador that Tokyo would try to take practical advantage of it aimed at problem solving.
Managing Director of the Dutch Foreign Ministry's Political Affairs Office, too, arguing that Iran is a great regional power, welcomed Iran's offering of a package of incentives to the big five members of the UN Security Council.
Former Croatian MP and active member of that country's Social Democrat Party Alelovic praising Iran's efforts aimed at mastering clear technology for peaceful purposes considered it a legitimate precondition for sustainable development.
