Iran-UN-SC-Package
Iran's Permanent Representative to the UN Mohammad Khazaei delivered on Wednesday the country's package of proposals to the body's Secretary General Ban Ki- moon and its Security Council's current President John Sawers in separate meetings.

The package indicated that as an influential, powerful and responsible country, Iran has practical solutions for major regional and international challenges, Khazaei was quoted as saying by in a report by the Press Department of Iran's mission to the UN.

Referring to the package as Iran's initiative, the diplomat added it has signalled Tehran's determination to hold constructive talks based on logic and mutual respect.

The UN chief and Sawers praised Iran's efforts and its initiative on the package.
