Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Wednesday that all should endeavor to thwart enemies' plots.

Rafsanjani made the remark in a meeting with a group of social, political and cultural activists from Kermanshah province.

Referring to the plots being hatched by the enemies against Iran, he said "We should exercise vigilance and wisdom to neutralize such plots at this very sensitive juncture."
Huge amounts of money in the society and lack of proper financial management on the market is the root cause of inflation which has crippled the country's development program, he said.

Ailing economy would put more pressures on people from all walks of life, he said, adding that officials should find a way out of the current dilemma.
