Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei wound up his visit to this southern province Thursday noon and departed for the capital Tehran.

The Supreme Leader who had arrived in the city of Larestan this morning to meet the local residents, left the city's airport after he was warmly seen off by local officials, including the
representative of Vali-ye Faqih (religious jurisprudence) in the province and its Friday prayer leader, governor-general and other senior officials.

Ayatollah Khamenei arrived in Shiraz last Wednesday morning amid warm welcome of enthusiastic people.

During his nine-day stay, the Supreme Leader travelled to various cities of the province, met local residents, families of martyrs and war veterans, officials, elites, university students and clerics.
