Private sector supports president's economic plan

The private sector, business executives and active exporters supported a plan offered by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on payment of subsidies directly to the people.


In a meeting held at former Majlis premises, one member of the working group mulling the plan briefed the participants on perspective of paying the subsidies directly to the people.

Shamseddin Hosseini called on private sector to help full implementation of the plan.

Meanwhile, representatives of the private sector welcomed the plan calling for its quick implementation.

They have also called for the government to consider some major points in implementation of the plan including the necessity of government's support for production, reforming banking policies, bringing about tranquility to economy and removing liquidity shortage for the producing firms.
