Former top nuclear negotiator Hassan Rowhani said on Sunday that the presence of US special envoy in Iran nuclear talks in Geneva is regarded as a U-turn in US diplomacy.

Speaking to reporters, he said the US has already declared that they have set preconditions for talks with Iran but they forced to ignore them.

"The shift in US diplomacy has created a very good opportunity for Iran and we should do our best to make use of it," he said.

On recent threat against Iran, he said, "We can strongly deal with such threats through unity and overcome them with ease."
