An Iranian lawmaker said Friday that uranium enrichment suspension is Iran's red line.

"Uranium enrichment suspension is Iran's red line and we should not accept the suspension even for a short period of time," said member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mohammad Karamirad in an interview with IRNA on Friday prior to Iran's talks with Europe in Geneva on Saturday over Tehran's nuclear issue.

As for the US readiness to send its envoy to the Geneva talks, Karamirad said, "The reality is the Islamic Republic's power and its potential have been proved to the world today."
"The Islamic Republic of Iran had in the Third Great Prophet Missile Exercise showcased well its defensive and combat readiness and enemies of Iranian government and nation hence understood well that it's a mistake to test the one that has successfully passed the test," he said.

He added that after the successful wargame, Americans and the Zionist rulers came to change their tone because they realized the high military and defensive power and potential of Iran.

"Our enemies should know that Iranian armed forces are in highest level of preparedness and are ready to give strong and crushing response to any threat. The Iranian nation too will like before stand beside their right and legal state officials in nuclear issue," he noted.
