Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham said on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a big power, is ready to negotiate with all world countries.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a local seminar, he added, "These negotiations are neither as a result of its needs nor because of its passiveness."
"The time for making use of one-sided and imposing literature has ended. One cannot encounter with such a literature with a big power like Iran," Elham reiterated.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has currently turned into a determining power in the region and in the entire world, he said adding that the world needs Iran.

Iran-US talks is a general approach for which preparations and necessary conditions should be provided, the government spokesman said.
