Majlis deputy speaker, by referring to the latest missile tests of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the Persian Gulf, said Iran with its 8 years of sacred defense and by using its experiences has organized its defensive potentials so as to make any aggressor regret.

Speaking to a group of engineers, Mohammad Reza Bahonar, who is also secretary general of Islamic Association of Engineers, said the recent threatening propaganda by the US government and the Zionist regime against Iran has had no effect on Iranians' morale.

He added, "Besides military threats, they have increased economic pressures against Iran, too, but Iranians have proved in different times that they have no doubt about defending themselves." Congratulating successful missile tests to the IRGC, Bahonar said Iran, by using its 8-year experiences of the imposed war, has come to the conclusion that it must be powerful so the enemies forget the idea of making any aggression against Iran.

The MP said world powers must recognize Iran's peaceful power adding, "Security of the geo-politically important region of the Persian Gulf can be secured only by countries of the region." 1391**1771
