Iran ready for fair talks with Group 5+1

Tehran, July 12, IRNA

Iran-Group 5+1-Elham
Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham said on Saturday that Iran is ready for fair talks with Group 5+1 on its nuclear dispute.

He told a press conference that Iran's stance on holding fair talks with G5+1 has not changed.

Asked about the Group of Eight (G8) Industrialized Countries' stance on Iran's nuclear program, Elham said that Iran's stance on the country's peaceful nuclear activities is transparent and permanent regardless of what the others say.

"Islamic Republic of Iran cannot stand any imposition from the industrialized nations", Elham said adding that some effective moves which seem rational have made by G5+1.

He added that the talks between Iran and G5+1 would be improved under the fair conditions.

"If they try to derail the talks into other direction, Iran is not the party which may suffer," he added.
