Head of Iran's Friday Prayers Leaders' Policy Making Council compared here Friday human rights observed in Prophet Muhammad's teachings with today's civilized world's human rights, advising Western defenders to open their eyes on human catastrophes in Iraq and Gaza.

Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Reza Taqavi, who was the pre-sermon lecturer at Tehran Friday Prayers this week, advised the entire world nations to take their time and compare the above mentioned two versions of human rights before making any further judgments.

He added, "In practice, too, take a look at broad violations of human rights in US prisons, that is apparently the standard bearer of the human rights in the world today, where human beings are being brutally and openly tortured."
Taqavi said, "Under such conditions, the West, and particularly the United States accuse Iran and some other countries of violating the human rights."
He referred to the crimes committed by the US and Israel in Iraq and in Palestine, arguing, "Why do the defenders of the human rights close their eyes on broad violations of such rights by the racist, butcher, and traitor Zionist regime?"
