Iran-Turkey-Ahmadinejad
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Wednesday that expansion of Iran-Turkey cooperation would benefit both nations and the entire region.

In a meeting with Turkish Minister of State Kursad Tuzmen, he said both Iran and Turkey can turn to economic poles through expansion of all-out bilateral relations.

There is no restriction for expansion of ties with Ankara, he said, underlining the need for making use of all the existing potentials to further promote bilateral economic relations.

The Iranian president further referred to transit of goods, development of railways, energy, foodstuff, agriculture, and banking as main areas for expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Iran and Turkey will rapidly develop in case of closer cooperation, President Ahmadinejad reiterated.
