Bomb blast injures 12 in southwestern Pakistan

At least 12 people were injured in a bomb blast outside a restaurant in Pakistan's southwest on Friday, TV channels reported.

The blast took place when the people were taking tea at the restaurant on Sumungli road in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.

The injured were taken to civil hospital.

Emergency was declared at the hospital to treat the injured.

No group claimed responsibility for the blast.

Some people sitting at the restaurant said they heard huge blast when they were taking tea.

Witnesses said that motorcyclists threw explosives at the restaurant.

There was no official word at the blast.
