Three Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers won gold and bronze medals in the international sport event 'Azomash Cup' currently underway in Ukraine.

On the first day of the two-day international tournament, Hamid Sourian in the 55-kg clinched the championship title to win the gold medal for the Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team.

In addition, Ali Mohammadi in the 66-kg and Saman Tahmasbi in the 84-kg beat their Ukrainian rivals and won bronze medals.

Omid Norouzi and Khalil Abdollahi in the 60-kg and the 74-kg respectively as well as Mohammad Qorbani and Qasem Rezaei both in the 96-kg will compete for their sides today.

Azomash Cup is a Greco-Roman wrestling tournament which began on Saturday in Ukraine with the participation of a number of famous Greco-Roman wrestling teams.
