Iran, Algeria call for cooperation on health

Iran's Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mohammad-Saeedi-Kia on Monday held talks with Algeria's Minister of Health, Population and Housing Reform Said Barkat on health cooperation.

The two sides reviewed ways to develop Tehran-Algiers cooperation as well as sharing experiences in various fields.

Saeedi-Kia said that two countries have wide experiences of health that can share them with each other.

He also said that an Algerian delegation along with the country's Minister of Health will visit Iran in near future to get familiarized with Iran's potentialities in the field of health.

He said such visits would strengthen bilateral cooperation in all fields, health in particular.

Heading a high-ranking economic delegation, Saeedi-Kia arrived in Algeria on Saturday to attend third Iran-Algeria joint economic commission.

During his three-day visit to the country, he held talks with a number of country's ministers.

He is due to meet with the Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia.
