The Industries and Mines Ministry director general for exports affairs has said that the industry sector had exported dlrs 12 billion last year, indicating a 16 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Hossein Esfandiari noted that the export of non-oil commodities, with the exception of technical and engineering services, stood at dlrs 12 billion during the same period.

In the said period, the main export destinations were the UAE, China, Iraq, India and Japan.
