ICHHTO opens office in Kuwait

An office to attract investment to Iranian tourism industry has been established in Kuwait, deputy head of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) for investment and projects said on Wednesday.

"Five more offices will be established in other countries in near future," Mahdi Jahangiri said.

Referring to the recent visit of Kuwaiti investors to Iran, he evaluated the visit as fruitful and positive.

"The number of such offices will reach 30 in near future," he said.

He also cited introduction of current potentials of tourism industry and recognition of domestic and foreign investors as the main objectives of the project.
