Kish Free Trade Zone, Croatia to develop cooperation

Iran's Managing Director of Kish Free Trade Zone Organization Davoud Madadi held talks with Croatian Ambassador to Iran Esad Prohic on ways to expand cooperation.

Madadi said that the Kish free zone has natural sight-seeing and is a tourist resort which would be attractive to Croatian tourists.

He said that development and investment projects are underway in Kish Free Trade Zone.

Madadi added that the Kish organization makes efforts to provide a secure and pleasant environment for the tourists.

Referring to the Kish region having water sport facilities, Madadi invited Croatian investors to go ahead with business in the zone.

In addition, Madadi said that direct flights from Croatia to Kish Free Trade Zone and vice versa are available which do not need entry visas, paving the ground for visiting the zone.

The Croatian ambassador, for his part, said that water sport in the Kish Free Trade Zone and expansion of tourism industry can help enhance cooperation.

Pointing to some free trade zones in Croatia, the ambassador said that those areas are able to develop relations with Kish Free Trade Zone and would be helpful to increase bilateral ties.

Referring to the Kish island with its geographical and coral location, Prohic called for the presence of Croatian geologists in Kish to carry scientific research and study.
