Expert warns of US culture substituting Islamic culture

Professor of International Relations and the founding director of the International Communication Hamid Molana here Friday warned against replacement of the Islamic culture with American culture worldwide.

Molana told a group of Basijis that the US is hard in efforts to replace Islamic culture with its own culture.

He said the US is seriously worried with Islamic unity and awakening and that would even in the slightest degree cost it dearly.

He stressed unity and solidarity among Muslims and urged formation of the world Islamic communions' university to lead for further unity among Muslims.

"Today, the US faces enormous problems in the region - in Iraq and Afghanistan in particular - and economically speaking, people face many hardships and 85 percent of the citizens are in debt trice their income level."
He said he believed the D-Illinois candidate Barack Obama has a great chance for victory in the November presidential elections in the US due to the ruling elite's support for him.

He added that Americans consider Obama as their savior so it would be strongly probable for him to win the race.
