Iran-Advisor-Nuclear
Senior presidential advisor Mojtaba Samareh Hashemi said here Wednesday that Iranian nation is the pioneer of justice-seeking in the world.
"Opposition of the global arrogance and world hegemonic powers to the Islamic Republic rooted from the justice-seeking characteristic of Iranians and the revolutionary government," Samareh Hashemi said in local seminar in this southwestern city.
He is in the province as a member of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's accompanying delegation in his visit to Kohgilouyeh and Boyer Ahmad.
The president and his cabinet members arrived in the province Wednesday morning on the fourth provincial tour of President Ahmadinejad in the current Iranian year (started on March 21).
"Despite possessing the most advanced nuclear weapons, the Western powers are to deprive the Iranian nation of its inalienable right to generate energy through peaceful nuclear activities," added the senior vice-president.
He added that after witnessing the resistance of the people and government of Iran, the big powers, in order to exert more pressure on the country, have recently raised the issue of suspension of Iran's nuclear activities for a few weeks.
"The global arrogance does not want to see Iran as a regional and international model set," Samareh Hashemi noted.
He said that Iran and Western countries are currently engaged in a war which "is the war of wills."
