University lecturer and Spokesman for the Guardians Council Abbas Ali Kadkhodaie said on Saturday that the West can show its good will in resolving Iran's nuclear dossier by referring the case to IAEA.
Speaking to IRNA, he said the West can create a suitable grounds to this end during Jalili-Solana talks in Geneva.
Iran is to continue its peaceful nuclear activities within NPT in line with international rules and regulations, he underlined.
Since referral of Iran's nuclear dossier to UNSC was against international regulations, the country strongly demands the case to be handled by IAEA, he said.
IAEA is to only legitimate body which can remove all probable ambiguities (over the case), he said, adding that referring Iran's nuclear dossier to UNSC had no legal base and was merely a politically-motivated move.
Iran has always remained committed to international laws and is to continue the same policy, he said.
"We should strongly safeguard the interests of the future generations," he said.
"Unfortunately, a number of international organizations such as UNSC have adopted a dual policy in dealing with global developments," he said.
