Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said Thursday that gone is the era of the US diplomatic deception.

"Gone is era of the US diplomatic deception. If they do not stop making troubles for the region, they will face Muslims' resistance," Larijani told Lebanese Hizbollah Leader Seyed Hassan Nasrallah in a phone conversation on Thursday.

Larijani, congratulating Nasrallah on recent victories of the Lebanese nation and of the resistance forces, said Nasrallah's wise diplomatic efforts had guaranteed calm in the region, sending a strong message to Zionists that they are facing a strategic deadlock in the region and have no option but admitting that the Palestinian nation are right, so any otherwise approach will reap them humiliation.

He said strong maneuver of Hizbollah and the resistance forces for government formation had restored tranquility to Lebanon.

Nasrallah too thanked Larijani for his promising statements and said the Lebanese share victory with the Iranian nation, thanking Tehran for all its supports.

Yet in a separate phone conversation, Larijani congratulated Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri on freedom of Lebanese prisoners by Israel and said the victory of the Lebanese marked failure of Zionists and defeat of the US strategy.

Berri said for his part that the Lebanese consider Iran a real partner in the victory because it has always been supporting the resistance there.

He hoped that Larijani will soon visit Lebanon.
