Iranian delegation visiting Lebanon to take part in celebrations marking freedom of Lebanese captives by Israel met and conferred with Lebanese speaker Nabih Berri here on Wednesday.

The delegation, led by Deputy Foreign Minister for the Middle East Affairs, Hossein Sheikholeslam, discussed with Berri latest regional and Lebanon's developments.

Iran's Charge D'Affaires in Lebanon Mojtaba Ferdowsipour and Mozaffar Roknabadi were other members of the delegation meeting Berri.

The Iranian side congratulated Berri and Lebanese nation on freedom of the Lebanese and victory of Hizbollah over the Zionist regime of Israel.

The Iranians also visited tombs of Lebanese martyrs, including Imad Mughniyah.
