Ahmadinejad: Tehran, Baku enjoy consolidated ties

Iran-Azerbaijan-President
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that Iran and Azerbaijan now enjoy very consolidated and sound relations and two nations have many things in common.

The president made the remark in a meeting with Chairman of the Supreme Parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan Vasif Talibov in Tehran on Tuesday.

Iran and Azerbaijan have deeply rooted historical and cultural relations, he said and welcomed expansion of all-out cooperation between the two countries.

Vasif Talibov, for his part, called for further expansion of relations and cooperation between the two sides.

People in Nakhichevan remembered the fruitful visit of the Iranian president to the autonomous republic, he said.
