Moscow, July 14, IRNA

Russia-Official-Iran
Russian deputy foreign minister said Russia expects talk between Iran and European union (EU) on Iran's nuclear program to resume following this week meeting in Geneva.

Sergei Kyslyak told reporters here Monday that 5+1 group countries, including Russia, believe that Iran's nuclear problem can be solved in such a way that Iran's interests can be secured too.

He described 5+1 group proposal package to Iran as a big cooperation package which will provide a wide range of possibilities for Iran to develop its economics, commercial and scientific ties with the countries of the group.

EU Chief Foreign Policy Javier Solana is to meet with Iran's Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili in Geneva on July 19, 2008.
